The HITS Law Enforcement Series™ (LES) is comprised
of individual computer-based and web-based training
courses focused on those issues of current relevance
to today’s police officer. Law Enforcement Series™
topics focus on issues of concern in public safety,
new training mandates, issues of legal liability,
societal changes facing and effecting police officers,
as well as standardized policing skills. The courses

provide police officers at all levels the knowledge

This eight (8) hour training course is designed
to define culture and the effects of culture
on communication. Population trends and demographic
analysis, their impact on the cultural climate
in the United States, and different types
of communication and cultural context indicators
or preferences among various cultures are
introduced.

Training and Information
The Distributed Learning Program (DLP) Subscription
for Law Enforcement Training provides hundreds

per-user subscription fee to first responders.

DNA Evidence
The DNA Series is a two CD set with interactive
crime scenarios covering essential training
in the fundamentals of properly preserving,
collecting, handling and storing DNA evidence.
"DNA Evidence for First Responders"
is presented from the perspective of the first
responders who secure a crime scene. "DNA
Evidence for Evidence Collectors" is
tailored to professionals who collect and
process crime scene evidence.
Ethics Series
The Ethics Series consist of three courses;
Ethics: A Perspective, Ethical Issues in Law
Enforcement and Diversity in Law Enforcement.

Training System - Academic Series
The Law Enforcement Training System-Academic
Series (LETS-AS) contains 18 individual units
with 65 collective lessons on CD-ROM. LETS-AS
places students in the "drivers seat"
of a patrol car and in the forefront of numerous
interactive scenario-driven practical exercises.
LETS-AS provides an excellent method to apply
and experience realistic patrol-officer problem
solutions and assist them in developing those
critical decision-making (problem-solving)
skills.
Training Management
System
The Training Management System (TMS) is
a digitized grading and training performance
program that features automated collection,
tracking, management, analysis, and interpretation.
A TMS interface is installed on most AST CD-ROM
based products. TMS provides efficient, comprehensive,
24-hour data capture and processing.
